These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of NorthHill Kids Code (“we”, “us”, “our”) programs, website, and related services (“Services”). By enrolling a child or using our Services, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility & Enrollment
- Parent/guardian must be 18+ to enroll a student and is responsible for all account activity.
- Students must meet age and prerequisite guidelines listed in program descriptions.
- Accurate personal, emergency, and medical information must be provided during enrollment.
- We may refuse or discontinue enrollment to ensure safety, capacity, or educational fit.
Enrollment is confirmed after payment and receipt of our confirmation notice.
Accounts & Security
- You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials and limiting access to your account.
- Notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized use or data inaccuracies.
- We may suspend accounts for security, legal, or policy reasons.
Payments & Billing
- Tuition and fees are due upon enrollment unless a payment plan is offered and selected.
- Accepted payments: major debit/credit cards and other methods shown at checkout.
- Late or failed payments may result in hold, suspension, or cancellation of enrollment.
- Discounts do not stack unless expressly stated.
You authorize us to charge your selected payment method for applicable fees and scheduled renewals if you opt for recurring programs.
Cancellations, Refunds & Make‑Ups
- Full refund within 7 days of purchase if the class has not started.
- After class start, pro‑rated credits may be offered at our discretion for documented reasons (e.g., medical).
- We may reschedule, switch to virtual, or provide make‑up sessions for instructor or facility issues.
- Holiday closures are announced in advance and are excluded from refund calculations.
To request a cancellation, open the Support modal and choose “Enrollment & Billing”.
Acceptable Use & Code of Conduct
- Respectful behavior is required. Bullying, harassment, or discrimination is prohibited.
- No sharing of harmful code, malware, exploits, or age‑inappropriate content.
- Devices must be used only for class activities, following instructor guidance.
- Parents/guardians must ensure timely drop‑off/pick‑up and reachable contact during classes.
Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or removal without refund for severe cases.
Intellectual Property
- Curriculum, lesson materials, and platform content are our intellectual property.
- Student projects remain the student’s property; you grant us a non‑exclusive right to showcase anonymized work for educational and promotional purposes unless you opt out.
- Do not copy, distribute, or reverse engineer our materials beyond personal class use.
Privacy
- We collect and process data to operate classes and support safety and learning.
- We use cookies and local storage for essential functionality and user preferences.
- Parental consent is required for the collection of children’s personal information.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
- Services are provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Total liability is limited to amounts paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your or your student’s use of the Services, breach of these Terms, or violation of rights of any third party.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms. Updates become effective upon posting. Material changes will be communicated using reasonable methods.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- These Terms are governed by the laws of your local jurisdiction unless otherwise required by law.
- Disputes will first be addressed via good‑faith negotiation and, if necessary, non‑binding mediation before litigation.
